Physics EE1 for Engineers

 


Welcome to the web pages for the Physics EE1 course. The class head is Dr. Val O'Shea and the Laboratory Head is Dr. Jim Kellie. We can be found in the Kelvin Building in the Department of Physics & Astronomy. Dr O’Shea's office, Room 329a, is on the third floor. Dr. Kellie is in Room 515a, on the fifth floor. All of the Lectures to this course take place in The Boyd Orr Building in Lecture Theatre B (Rm 412) The Laboratories take place in the First Year laboratories located on the second floor of the Kelvin Building..  

The course notice board, where announcements to the class will be posted, is just in the Laboratory are in Rm. 225. It is important that you check this noticeboard regularly.

Issues to do with the running and organisation of the class should ideally be brought to the attention of the Class Head. An additional route by which you can air issues of concern is to talk to your class representatives who sit on the Departmental Staff-Student committee.
